These terms apply when you use The Next Object website and newsletter. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

Editorial information, not advice

Our content is for general information and product discovery. It is not financial, investment, legal, safety or technical advice, and it is not a guarantee that a product is suitable for you.

Crowdfunding risk

A crowdfunding pledge is not the same as an ordinary retail purchase. Projects may be delayed, changed or cancelled and rewards may not be delivered. Prices, specifications, availability, shipping, taxes and campaign terms can change after publication. Review the official campaign page and make your own assessment before pledging or buying.

Accuracy and corrections

We aim to verify material claims against current sources at publication, but information can change quickly and errors can occur. Contact hello@thenextobject.com with a correction. Publication does not amount to a warranty or endorsement.

Commercial relationships

We may receive affiliate commissions from selected links and may charge creators for clearly labelled partner features. Our Editorial & Commercial Policy explains how these arrangements are identified and kept subject to selection standards.

Third-party services

Campaigns, stores and other linked services are operated by third parties. Their terms, privacy practices, products and performance are outside our control. Dealings with them are between you and the third party.

Intellectual property

The Next Object name, original design, written selection and original content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Product names and campaign assets belong to their respective owners and are used for identification, reporting or with permission. You may share links and short attributed excerpts, but may not reproduce complete issues or use our brand commercially without permission.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, The Next Object is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service, reliance on content, or dealings with a third party. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
